Devan F. Wastchak
Managing Partner
Mr. Wastchak has been with Foursite for nine years and in addition to overseeing company operations and managing projects for Foursite Consulting's clients, he has taken the lead as a partner in Foursite Development, overseeing the successful development and disposition of three luxury apartment communities comprising 600 units. He is currently overseeing the development of four new multi-family projects in various stages of planning, design, entitlement, and construction, comprising an additional 1,000 units. As a partner, he was intimately involved in the formation of Optimus Civil Design and Survey. Devan currently limits his involvement with the Optimus companies to strategic planning and operations.
Prior to joining Foursite, he managed commercial projects in California and New Mexico before returning to Arizona to work for Mark-Taylor Development. While at Mark-Taylor, he was involved in various aspects of entitlement, planning, design and construction of 10 luxury apartment communities totaling over 3,000 units. His primary responsibilities included up-front due diligence, entitlements, design coordination, scheduling, buyout, and construction management. In addition, he worked closely with lenders, investors and partners on budget preparation, cash flow projections and fund disbursements.
Devan is an alumni of Arizona State University, having graduated with honors from the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and is currently teaching a senior level real estate development course as an adjunct professor at the main campus.
